Play like it’s 1998

Today, I'm really excited to release the first Transparent editions of Delta Pocket 2.5! Version 2.5 has a new layout that is optimized for iPhone 16 Pro and has a host of fit and finish improvements that are shown off really well by Poketto and Atomic Purple.

While the existing Clear Purple edition matches most modern third-party translucent purple console shells, Atomic Purple aims to be more toned down and true to the Atomic Purple Game Boy Color. Poketto is based on the iconic and gorgeous Japan-exclusive Famitsu Edition Game Boy Light, with a glass-like clear shell and white accents.

While I already loved the first run of Transparent Editions, my goal with this update was to make it even prettier. You’ll notice the biggest improvements in the landscape version, which is more rounded, has way better shoulder buttons, subtle lighting changes, a larger display for GBC games, and some new under the surface details. I’ve also corrected the mapping of the shoulder buttons, so they match the Delta Pocket Instruction Booklet (sorry about that!)

I’m really proud of this update, and I hope you enjoy them as well. The rest of the Delta Pocket line will be updated the next month, but I wanted to make sure these two got the attention I think they deserve!
